Disney’s Hercules arrives in the West End in a new musical from Alan Menken and Casey Nicholaw.

In ancient Greece, Hercules is caught between worlds—too mortal for Olympus, too powerful for Earth. After being cast out of the gods’ realm, he must prove himself a true hero to return home. With Hades scheming in the underworld and Thebes on the brink of disaster, Hercules sets off on an epic quest that brings him face to face with monsters, love, and what it really means to be strong. It’s a journey from zero to hero—and it’s going to take more than muscles to make it.

Disney’s Hercules lands in the West End at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in a brand-new stage adaptation of the beloved animated film. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (Aladdin, Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon), the show features music by Alan Menken (Newsies, Sister Act) and lyrics by David Zippel, with a new book by Robert Horn (Tootsie) and Kwame Kwei-Armah (Beneatha’s Place). Co-choreography is by Tanisha Scott (Savage X Fenty), bringing new energy and movement to the stage.

With gospel-infused anthems like “Go the Distance,” “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love),” and “Zero to Hero,” plus dazzling visuals and plenty of divine sass, Hercules is a mythological musical comedy for the ages.
