Rachel Zegler makes her West End debut in Jamie Lloyd’s revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's political tragedy.

Eva Perón is a young woman who rises from poverty in rural Argentina to become a beloved and controversial First Lady. As her political influence grows and her fame skyrockets, Eva becomes both a symbol of hope for the working class and a target of criticism from the elite. Her meteoric rise—and tragic early death—unfolds through a sung-through narrative of ambition, charisma, and carefully constructed power.

This new production is directed by Jamie Lloyd (Much Ado About Nothing - starring Tom Hiddleston & Haylee Atwell, Sunset Boulevard - starring Nicole Scherzinger), one of the UK’s most daring and influential theatre-makers, known for reimagining classic works with striking minimalism and psychological depth.

Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler (Romeo + Juliet on Broadway, West Side Story, Snow White) leads the cast as Eva Perón in her West End debut. Featuring a score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice that includes “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Oh What a Circus,” and “You Must Love Me,” Evita plays a limited run at the London Palladium.
