A nun offers spiritual guidance to a death row inmate while navigating grief and moral conflict.

Convicted of the brutal murders of two teenagers, Joseph De Rocher awaits execution by lethal injection. As he denies responsibility for the crimes, Sister Helen Prejean, a Catholic nun, becomes his spiritual advisor.

The production follows her efforts to guide Joseph toward accountability while confronting the profound anguish of the victims' families. Caught between compassion and justice, Sister Helen faces the emotional and ethical complexities of capital punishment, faith, and forgiveness.
