About the Show

The improvised comedy based on Jane Austen's novels returns to the West End.

Jane Austen's characters and stories are plucked straight from their novels & put centre stage in this sharp improv comedy. Based on suggestions from the audience, the cast provides a unique Austen-esque performance in full Regency costume, accompanied by live period music.

The revolving 'Austentatious' cast includes Rachel Parris ('Live at the Apollo'), Cariad Lloyd ('Griefcast'), Joseph Morpurgo (Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee), Graham Dickson (BBC’s The Witchfinder, Netflix’s After Life) and more.

This production is recommended for ages 14+.

For a previous production

If the plot became unnecessarily tangled at times, that is hardly surprising given the different contributors chipping in. It is not the slickest of dramas and maybe that is part of the fun.
