Love without limits—until reality intervenes.

Jesse, a thoughtful Black playwright on scholarship at Columbia, finds his relationship with his white boyfriend, Neil, increasingly strained. While Jesse prefers to observe and reflect, Neil is a committed Black Lives Matter activist who challenges Jesse’s reluctance to engage more directly in political discourse. As the couple navigates the tensions between personal identity and public responsibility, they confront complex questions of race, privilege, class, and the limits of intimacy.

The production stars Omari Douglas as Jesse Howard and Alexander Lincoln as Neil Finley-Darden, with Luke Striffler and Stanton Plummer-Cambridge serving as covers for the roles.
