World premiere with Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton) and Letitia Wright (Black Panther) exploring a family after loss.
Following the death of their matriarch, Joyce and her daughter Erica grapple with the future. The deceased was the central figure who maintained family cohesion, and her absence leaves a void they struggle to address. Joyce believed she had provided Erica with a superior upbringing, offering opportunities and advantages she herself lacked. However, Erica begins to question whether, despite engaging in therapy, journaling, and environmentally conscious practices, she is fundamentally similar to her mother and grandmother.
This production features acclaimed actors Golda Rosheuvel (known for Bridgerton) and Letitia Wright (recognized for Black Panther). The world premiere is co-created by writer Emma Dennis Edwards and director Lynette Linton (whose credits include Shifters).
The narrative explores the possibility that generational patterns remain unbroken, prompting reflection on whether breaking such cycles is truly achievable.
