Set in the opulent world of Moscow High Society, the impulsive and romantic Natasha Rostova eagerly awaits her fiancé's return from the front lines. However, she becomes captivated by an alluring aristocrat, leaving the unlikely hero, Pierre, to mend her shattered reputation. Inspired by a scandalous episode of Tolstoy’s War and Peace, Dave Malloy’s multi-award-winning, genre-defying musical is a dazzling party from start to finish.

Nominated for 12 Tony Awards on Broadway, this new Donmar production, directed by Artistic Director Tim Sheader in its UK premiere, follows his Olivier Award-winning musicals Jesus Christ Superstar and Into the Woods.
