When Brigid receives a late-night call from her brother Niall, she knows something is wrong. After a troubling incident lands him in the hospital, Niall moves in with Brigid as she tries to help him rebuild his life. Set in contemporary Belfast, Little Brother is an intimate and sharply observed exploration of family bonds, mental health, and the complexities of care.

Written by Verity Bargate Award-winning playwright Eoin McAndrew, the production is directed by Emma Jordan, the award-winning Artistic Director of Prime Cut Productions. The play was selected from over 1,700 entries for the prestigious Soho Theatre award, judged by an industry panel including Alan Cumming, Moira Buffini (Dinner), and Anupama Chandrasekhar (Father and the Assassin).

With biting humor and deep emotional insight, Little Brother sheds light on the personal struggles within a fractured healthcare system. This new play joins a legacy of bold, thought-provoking theatre at Soho Theatre.
