David Copperfield charts the turbulent early life of a young boy born into misfortune and determined to make something of himself. From unhappy beginnings—marked by loss, neglect, and hardship—David navigates a series of misadventures involving eccentric relatives, cruel guardians, and unlikely allies as he finds his voice and carves out his path to becoming a writer.

This new adaptation features a cast of three actors portraying dozens of characters from Dickens' classic novel, including Pegotty, Uriah Heep, and Mr. Micawber. The production is created by the team behind the recent adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, noted for its comic inventiveness and playful staging.

Presented as a seasonal production, David Copperfield blends Victorian storytelling with contemporary theatricality, offering a fast-paced and character-rich take on Dickens’ enduring tale of resilience and self-discovery.
