Lyric Hammersmith's annual pantomime about a young street urchin who discovers a magical lamp containing a genie.
When the street urchin Aladdin stumbles upon a mysterious lamp and frees the genie within it, he is granted three wishes with which to change his life. Will he win the affection of the beautiful Princess Jasmine? Or will the evil Sultan scupper his path to true love?
Award-winning writer Sonia Jalaly (Royal Court’s Long Form Writer’s Group 2020, BBC Writersroom Comedy Room 2018) pens this year's Lyric Hammersmith pantomime, which is directed by the venue's Artistic Associate Director Nicholai La Barrie.
