Set in December 1975, this one-man play places Truman Capote in his New York apartment as he grapples with the personal and social consequences of a literary scandal that severed his ties to the elite circle he once dominated. Constructed entirely from Capote’s own words, the script traces his reflections on fame, betrayal, and the cost of artistic ambition at a moment of professional and personal rupture. Performed in the Library of the House of the Redeemer, the production presents an intimate staging that situates the audience in close proximity to a writer confronting the fallout of his most controversial work.
