The Neo-Futurists' lineup of interactive plays, each written by a performer and honed by the ensemble.
The Infinite Wrench is a constantly evolving theatrical experiment in which the New York Neo-Futurists attempt to perform 30 short plays within the span of an hour. Each performance is different, drawing on original material crafted by the ensemble that can shift from comedic to serious, personal to political, absurd to poignant. With new works added weekly, the show remains in perpetual motion, resisting traditional theatrical form.
The production is devised and performed by the New York Neo-Futurists, founded in 2004 as the New York branch of Chicago’s long-running Neo-Futurists. Known for their direct, fast-paced, non-illusory style, the ensemble has created thousands of original short plays and is an award-winning company.
