Set during one of the darkest periods in human history, ZAGŁADA explores the human and political dimensions of the Holocaust through a dramatic narrative rooted in historical truth. The play centers on a former Nazi officer grappling with guilt, memory, and responsibility as he confronts his past decades after the war. As buried secrets come to light, the tension between justice and redemption drives the unfolding story.

The production stars Tony Award winner Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd, Blue Bloods), bringing his decades of stage and screen experience to this deeply challenging role. The play is written by Richard Vetere, an established playwright and screenwriter known for The Engagement and How to Go Out on a Date in Queens. Presented by the American Theatre of Actors, the production highlights a collaboration between veteran talent and one of NYC’s most resilient independent theatre institutions.
