A tragedy of jealousy and manipulation as a general’s marriage is undone by suspicion.

The play follows Othello, a respected general in the Venetian army, whose marriage to Desdemona is gradually destroyed through calculated insinuation. His ensign, Iago, exploits trust and insecurity by suggesting Desdemona’s infidelity, setting off a chain of doubt, rage, and retaliation. What begins as a private suspicion escalates into public and personal catastrophe, driven by deception and misjudgment.
