A marriage unravels when an old flame returns in this intimate new play by Ken Urban.

Danger and Opportunity centers on Christian and Edwin, a married gay couple navigating a period of stagnation in their relationship. Their routine is disrupted when Christian's ex-girlfriend from Catholic high school, Margaret, re-enters his life after two decades. This unexpected reunion prompts the trio to explore the complexities of modern relationships and personal identity.

The production features performances by Drama Desk and Lortel award-winner Juan Castano (Toros, Transfers), Julia Chan (Pre-Existing Condition, Uncle Vanya), and Ryan Spahn (The Antiquities, The Jordans). Directed by Obie Award-winner Jack Serio, known for his intimate productions like Uncle Vanya, the play is staged in the East Village Basement, a venue designed to resemble a living room, enhancing the play's intimate atmosphere.
