A lawyer defends a man marked for execution in a justice system without mercy.
In a chillingly plausible near future, a defense attorney is forced to represent a man condemned by society as “beyond rehabilitation.” The man faces death not by traditional means but by a new execution device designed to kill without pain. As the lawyer navigates a broken system stripped of compassion, the boundaries of justice and mercy are put to the test.
