A jobless, unmoored Mae returns home to care for her ailing father and finds intimacy with a stranger.

Following the loss of both her job and her boyfriend, an unsettled Mae (Alia Shawkat) returns to her small Washington hometown to care for her ailing father. Upon meeting a mysterious stranger, Mae realizes that the intimacy she desires may be more easily achieved with someone unknown than with her own family. You Got Older is a tender and darkly comic play that blends reality and fantasy while addressing themes of family, illness, and cowboys. The production reunites playwright Clare Barron, an Obie Award winner and Pulitzer Prize finalist, with director Anne Kauffman, an Obie Award winner and Tony Award nominee.
