In this sharp satire directed by Teddy Bergman (KPOP), a young hero, played by Jordan Fisher (Hadestown), leads his community in a rebellion against oppressive forces. Set in a dystopian world where water is scarce and “Hope” even scarcer, citizens are forced to pay for the "Privilege to Pee" at public facilities controlled by a greedy tycoon, with strict monitoring by figures like Officer Lockstock (Taran Killam of Spamalot). As tensions rise, the poorest of these facilities, run by the stern Penelope Pennywise (Keala Settle of The Greatest Showman), becomes the focal point for revolution.
