A sci-fi romantic dramedy by Kipp Koenig about a woman who meets her future child through an AI glitch.
This new play follows Amy, a woman who believes she has found the perfect partner—except they disagree on the number of children they want. When her partner expresses a desire for five kids while she wants only one, Amy seeks clarity at a futuristic computer lab. There, an AI system generates a holographic teenager based on their combined DNA, intended to simulate the daughter they might one day have.
The play is written by Kipp Koenig, whose background spans theatre, technology, and writing across multiple forms. The Glitch had a sold-out run at the Next Step Theatre Festival before transferring to an Off-Broadway limited engagement.
Presented as a romantic dramedy with sci-fi elements, the production explores questions of technology, love, and the role of choice in shaping family.
