A spirited journey into 1938’s radio writers’ room, Thank You, Don Ameche unfolds through two acts as five comedy writers craft a sketch under deadline. As sharp one‑liners fly, the pressure from daily life begins to seep in—from the rising threat of World War II to the lure of a Hollywood writing contract that threatens both the group’s cohesion and a delicate romance.

The production is written and directed by Lawrence A. Herman, whose background spans improv and musical comedy. Leading the cast is Ben Batchelder, a Brooklyn-based creator and producer (founder of Brooklyn Alternative Theater Company), alongside actors Joe Castinado, Emma Taylor Miller, Ryan Scott Thomas, Dylan Smith, and Mark Simonoff, supported by a talented ensemble.
