Featuring the sounds of bomba, plena, and bolero, the production weaves together the works of renowned poets such as Luis Palés Matos, Julia de Burgos, and Nicolás Guillén, alongside others whose words reflect histories of resilience and pride.
The performance is rooted in tradition while embracing a contemporary sensibility, highlighting the shared cultural threads between Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Peru.
