Paul Mescal will star in a new revival of A Streetcar Named Desire off Broadway.
Paul Mescal returns to the stage as Stanley Kowalski in a U.S. revival of A Streetcar Named Desire at the Brooklyn Academy of Music this spring. Directed by Rebecca Frecknall (Cabaret on Broadway), this production reprises the award-winning London West End staging, which earned three Olivier Awards, including Best Revival and Best Actor for Mescal.
Set in a steamy New Orleans summer, Tennessee Williams’s iconic play follows Blanche, a fading Southern belle, as she visits her sister Stella and her husband Stanley. Reality and illusion collide in this gripping tale of secrets, tension, and the struggle to escape the past.
