Set in 1930s Berlin as the Nazi regime begins to rise, Cabaret centers on the decadent nightlife of the Kit Kat Club and the complicated relationships that unfold within and around it. American writer Clifford Bradshaw arrives in Berlin and quickly falls for the enigmatic singer Sally Bowles, while the Emcee and the club’s performers provide a surreal, seductive backdrop to a world on the brink of transformation. As political tensions grow, the line between performance and reality begins to blur.

This Broadway revival reimagines Cabaret as an immersive experience inside the transformed August Wilson Theatre, now the Kit Kat Club. Directed by Rebecca Frecknall (A Streetcar Named Desire), this production stars country music artist Orville Peck as the Emcee and two-time Tony Award® nominee Eva Noblezada (Hadestown, Miss Saigon) as Sally Bowles in a limited engagement through July 20th 2025. The show features classic music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb (Chicago), with a book by Joe Masteroff.

Originally staged in London’s West End, where Show-Score members rated it as an Audience Acclaimed show, this production brings new life to the iconic musical through immersive staging and bold design. The August Wilson Theatre has been transformed into a 1920s Berlin nightclub, inviting the audience to step into the world of the Kit Kat Club for an experience that merges theatricality with atmosphere and historical tension.
